I was wondering what this DVD might have which hasn't been said/showed about DSOTM? But I certainly wasn't (originally was in) the right!
So I start it and it instantly casts a spell with stills of DSOTM flashing on the screen and Roger fading ..... "An _expression of political, philosophical and humanitarian empathy that was desperate to get out".
Boy, I thought I knew a lot about it but I was 'Down and Out ... It can't be helped but there's a lot of it about'.
Musically, Floyd were pioneers of futuristic sounds with the vision they had on the pieces which looked impossible in 1971, Money (Loop taping and sounds made in pot with coins, torn paper and a register), doubletracking and harmony vocals(Dave and Rick are masters of it), On the Run (Sonic experimentation with filters, oscillators and echoes).
One of the magical things which just happened, nobody planned, was the voices which would make the album what it is! Yes the voices, some of which at least, I never understood e.g. They are prominent in this dvd ... It's the moment gonna kill ya. Say like if you give them a quick shock, sharp shock they don't do it again. Dig it I mean I could have given them ...... ... I need it once, It's only difference you've between right and wrong. I mean good manners don't cost nothing, do they? Aaye .... (US AND THEM). I certainly was in the right, Why should I be afraid of dying, I don't really know ... I was very drunk at the time.
Roger talks about his views on the songs .. Us and Them, It still holds good after 30 years to ask us the question whether or not, we are capable enough of being humane? What more could aptly be put in today's world? Brain Damage - It's about Syd and defending the notion of being different.
It also includes bonus material about nitty gritty of the album such as
Rick's chord progressions for 'Us and Them' (all the chords relating to D instead of A - music from Zabriskie Point) & 'Breathe' (G to Em - inspired by Miles Davis' jazz chord) and all of Rick's extremely compelling organ and piano in DSOTM.
Roger's bluesy demo version of 'Money'.
Dave!!!!!!!!! What can I say? Watching him in the studio with spectacles was funny. He is the god! Period. All the leads, riffs and effects ... outstanding. Slide Guitar? Ooooooooooh! Wish I had one of these ...
It leaves a lot of space but doesn't hold back your imagination. Prism of DSOTM takes one ray of light, your mind, and when it leaves it, Just range of colors ..... Any color you like! It is the most inspirational album which is wrongfully mentioned as the most
depressive one may be! There's nothing contrived about it. It's just eternal ...
THIS DVD IS THE COLLECTIBLE YOU MUST HAVE!

For some reason , or at least the way the album was introduced, one may assume that there is a lot here to enjoy. Unfortunately it is not the case. The album is more for FLOYD'S fans who are eager to have all the small details.Well, personaly I don't care that much about these details, all I want is the true staff, for that I would recommend to those who are hesitating, don't buy this DVD, buy the CD...or wait for the true Dark Side of the Moon.

When I got a DVD player my wife and I agreed that since we don't watch movies repeatedly, we would only purchase DVDs that we could enjoy without sitting in front of the screen. Like DVDs of concerts or music videos. She bought me this one because I told her how much I liked the "Dark Side of the Moon" and wished I had a copy. Man is this a disappointment.
This is not "The Dark Side of the Moon", it is a documentary styled sleeping aid about the album, if you can imaging that. It is a collection of talking heads telling way too much about their internal realities with a couple of bars of the songs thrown in. I doubt anyone other than the speakers and a few music historians care two beans about what they have to say. If you want to hear the music, buy the CD, because there isn't any music on this DVD that's worth hearing. This DVD should have a warning label that it is not intended for recreational use.

If your looking for the actual concert of Dark Side
of the Moon, then keep on looking. This is a "Making Of"
type DVD with interviews and track overlays. This is more
of a History lesson than anything else. In my opinon, this
DVD "Stinks on Ice". I saw them live at Winterland in
San Francisco, Ca. back in 69-70 for the Dark Side tour. This is added in
response to it didn't come out until 1973. Have you ever
heard of "testing the waters" to see how it will be
received. The Moody Blues first album sucked bad (Bye Bye
Blackbird)I am allowed to have an opinon, if you agree or not
I don't care. I wanted music, not jabbering, the Sun hasen't
risen or set it their rear ends. Pink Floyd is not the be all,
end all. They are good, but that all they are.

The album does exactly what it should do..it holds many CD's or DVD's. The openings are big enough to put album cover behind CD's. We are very happy with this purchase & would highly recommend it.

Why do we keep those "bulky" CD cases?
To preserve those liner notes that we NEVER read?!

CDs get scratched over time anyway, right?
So . . .
Instead of filling six storage boxes that sit in the BACK of the closet (inaccessible)
I'm now keeping my CD's in a compact and handy place.
Simplicity rocks!

If things haven't changed in the time since I bought this case, this product is listed as a 190 capacity case. When I received it, it only held 160. Look at the "technical details" - although the capacity is listed as 190, in the technical details the capacity is listed as 160. Luckily for me I don't think I would need a 190 capacity case anyway, but if you do, don't make the mistake I did. Read all the details before purchase.

Ordered The case on May 5th, and just received it today on June 8th. After 3 weeks of waiting, I tried to contact datavis 3 times, both by email and phone. I didn't get a response until I threatened to have my credit card company get my money back. They still didn't contact me, but instead sent out another automated order confirmation email with a tracking number in it. It would have been nice to get it on time, but now that it's here I'm happy with the quality. I don't think I would buy from them again.

best way is to not buy from ebay... otherwise you take that risk. If you do risk it though have it appraised as soon as you get it.

I really like this book and it holds my 12x12 pages nicely. It's good quality for the price and it looks really nice. My only complaint is that it's a bit smaller than I would have liked.

I was looking for some scrapbook binders and I found some online at Amazon. I was a little hesitant on buying them online. This is a very nice binder. It looks great and holds everything the way it should. Very nice!

The Album Leaf, the moniker under which one-man band Jimmy LaValle operates, created a nice indie-buzz with its second album, 2001's "One Day I'll Be On Time", an album I still cherish to this day. The band's output since then has been skimpy. There was an equally excellent 2004 album "In a Safe Place", and an ok album in 2006 "Into the Blue Again". Now finally comes the band's fifth album, which actually was recorded not just by LaValle solo, but by his entire touring band.

"A Chorus of Storytellers" (11 tracks; 50 min.) starts off with the intimate "Perro", which is followed by a mesmorizing "Blank Pages". I'm not a big fan of the band's non-instrumental songs (meaning with lead vocals), but "There Is A Wind" is not bad at all. Track 6, the middle track of the album, "Stand Still" is one of my favorites on here, starting off with loud drums, over which Jimmy LaValle's keyboards come in, to then go into a full band mode, just great. A coupe of great, dreamy tracks follow ("Summer Fog", "Until The Last"). "We Are" is the second track to feature vocals. The album finishes with "Tied Knots", a seminal, dreamy Album Leaf track, and what a great way to close this album out. In all, this album is an excellent album, for me the best since "One Day I'll Be On Time". Welcome back, guys!

I've seen the Album Leaf in concert only once, in 2001, in support of the "One Day" album (opening for Sigur Ros, no less) and what a fabulous concert that was (has it really been that long ago?). Can't wait to see these guys again live. If you wonder where you can hear this album, check out WOXY (BAM! The Future of Rock and Roll), the internet-only station that brings the best indie-music in the country. Meanwhile, "A Chorus of Storytellers" is highly recommended.

AL constantly operate between the spaces of tired repetition and inspired beauty, but even if this new attempt falls more towards the latter, they still cannot seem to maintain interest throughout and easily fall back to that safe place of predictability.

You know, i happen to be a fan of this particular genre of music. And one thing i take exception to, is when simpleton's refer to this variety of music as "background music", which is such a trivial and lazy attempt to categorize The Album Leaf, or anything comparable.

Most mainstream pop acts are so desperate and hungry for attention, that they abandon any sembalance of modesty or subtlety, and that really refelcts in their music adversely in my opinion. Where as The Album Leaf exudes a quiet dignity, and a restrained artistic beauty. Their music is often thoughtful and meditative, a quality often absent from more commercial offering's. They don't feel the need to wave their hands in the air, and shout "look at me!!" (figuratively speaking)

This album may not be their best, and at times it does come across as overly familiar. However, it did manage to sustain my interest all the way through. Even their least effective album (in a safe place) manages to achieve a level of quality that often goes unmatched within the industry.

If you are a fan of The Album Leaf, then there is no reason why "A Chorus of Storytellers" shouldn't be in your collection.

MJ was undoubtedly a big influence in all of our lives, especially those of who are old enough to remember him back in the 70's and 80's. So, as a loyal fan, I thought the only right thing to do at this time, was to give other loyal fans a place to come together and share all of our wonderful memories and thoughts of MJ. This is a place to celebrate and reflect on an incredible person and modern day icon. If you're interested in becoming a free member of my new Michael Jackson Remembrance forum please visit http://www.MJLivesForever.com and start posting your thoughts. This forum is for true and loyal of fans only. Defamation of MJ will not be tolerated. Please help me celebrate the incredible life of Michael Jackson and help me continue to keep King of Pop's memories alive. Thanks.

If you check the other best selling albums, they are about 60million off. That's a lot! And nope, no other album will sell more. Thriller will continue to sell after his death, making the number higher each time.

Let me first say that I've been an Album Leaf fan since "One Day I'll be on Time." I own everything LaValle has released under the Album Leaf moniker except for one tour EP. As someone that really likes his style of music, I'll probably keep picking up any new releases, but for the casual listener, you really don't need more than two of the band's records to satisfy you. I don't think it's too much of a stretch to categorize the band's releases into what came before "In a Safe Place," and what came after.

Everything that came after "In a Safe Place" sounds very similar, but never quite captures what that record did. I think LaValle found a formula and he doesn't show any signs of abandoning it anytime soon. While Storytellers was recorded as a full band as opposed to mostly just LaValle, I don't think it makes that much of a difference in how the record sounds. It's definitely a step up from the previous record 'Into the Blue Again' which sounded like leftovers from 'In a Safe Place,' but there's nothing different about this record. The band switches things up a little bit with a few more songs with vocals, but like the previous albums, Storytellers keeps a pretty consistent pace throughout the record and within each song.

If the Album Leaf can be criticized for anything, it would be predictability and lack of dynamics. Part of what makes a band like Sigur Ros as captivating as they are is that their songs and albums have so much build up and release. The Album Leaf stays consistent throughout their songs and entire records. There are no crescendos or slow burning build-ups. Picking a random song off of any of their last three records will give you a pretty good idea what all of those records sound like.

Maybe it sounds like I'm being too harsh to give this a four-star review. Perhaps, but again, I do really like this band. Fans won't be disappointed, but if you've lost interest in this band because they've failed to keep your attention, this record won't do anything to change that.

Comment on Family Album: A Novel by Lynn Harnett

British novelist Lively, winner of the Booker Prize (Moon Tiger) and an expert in the darkish art of domestic wit, celebrates big, happy families in her 22nd book. To matriarch Alison, family is, simply, what she lives for, even now that her six children have dispersed to distant parts and seldom return.

The novel opens with one such return, however. Gina (second oldest), 39, brings her new boyfriend, Philip, to meet her parents and see her rather larger-than-life childhood setting, Allersmead. The house is a rambling Edwardian pile with seven bedrooms, presided over still by Alison, husband Charles and the Swedish au pair, Ingrid, who arrived 40 years before and has never left.

"The kitchen was the heartland of Allersmead. Of course. That is so in any well-adjusted family home, and Allersmead was a shrine to family....There were children's drawings still tucked behind the crockery on the dresser, a painted papier-mâché tiger on a shelf, alongside a row of indeterminate clay animals that someone made earlier. There were named mugs slung from hooks: Paul, Gina, Sandra, Katie, Roger, Clare."

Philip is intrigued, even a little envious, impressed by the many photos and mementos, the large garden, Alison's wonderful and abundant food, the idea of the family teeming over the place.

"Gina continued to hear voices, her life was still flashing at her. It seemed odd that Philip could be impervious to this, that a person with whom one had become so absolutely intimate could be so perversely ignorant. Not know. Not see and hear. One is sealed off, she thought. So is he. So's everyone. No wonder there's mayhem."

Her father, Charles, however, has made an art form out of sealing himself off from the mayhem. "Charles is immersed - in his train of thought, in the organization of words, of sentences. Time passes - but, for him, it seems to stand still. He looks out the window occasionally, unseeing, thoughts tumble in his head. He is elsewhere, inside his mind, in pursuit of an argument, a sequence."

With the help of a small private income, Charles has devoted his life to writing books on any subject that captures his interest. The books are (or were) accessible and widely read, although not by anyone in his immediate family. His study seems an alien, sacrosanct territory inside the fecund chaos of the family manse.

He emerges for meals, engages newcomers (like Philip) in arcane discussions, handles the finances. Alison does everything else. With Ingrid's somewhat implacable assistance. No one seems to know what Ingrid thinks, or ever thought, about anything, yet she is such an integral part of the family Allersmead cannot be imagined without her.

Naturally there are secrets. What family doesn't have secrets?

These begin to emerge after Gina and Philip depart for home and the novel proceeds from various points of view at various times over the last 40 years. Gina's 8th birthday, "of which everyone will remember something different." A summer holiday in Cornwall, which Katie remembers as "one commotion after another," and Roger remembers as "amazing." "I had that kite. I got seriously into marine biology."

There were the cellar games, which excluded adults so completely that they knew nothing about them. The sibling rivalry between cerebral Gina and pretty Sandra. Paul's youthful binges, which have somehow never stopped.

And there is the greatest gulf of all. "...their parents seemed to hover - presences that are entirely known, familiar and also unreachable, enigmatic." As adults the children wonder about them to each other. The six children were obviously Alison's raison d'etre, but what about Charles? Did he want that many? Did he want any?

Alison works hardest at keeping unpleasantness at bay. It's more than sweeping things under the carpet. Alison will do almost anything to preserve her happy family.

And this family has one very big secret, known to all. "Not that there were conversations, exchanges, comments. No one has wished to discuss it; if ever the facts of the matter seemed to smolder dangerously, there would be a concerted move to stamp out the embers, to move away, to find safe territory elsewhere."

This secret comes out fairly early in the novel, the biggest among other, smaller crises that have been dealt with and set aside. With her sharp wit and sympathetic understanding of human nature, Lively explores the ways families conspire in their secrets, the way memories inform a life and each life makes different memories of the same experience, the way one "happy family" is eight individual people all sequestered inside their own heads, all striving after their own interests.

For the reader Alison and Charles emerge as both repellant and sympathetic characters. To their children they remain, determinedly, enigmas.

An absorbing, witty portrait of family in all its warts and warmth, Lively's latest will please her fans with its sharp characterizations and absorbing narrative path.

“The kitchen was the heartland of Allersmead. Of course. That is so in any well-adjusted family home, and Allersmead was a shrine to family….There were children’s drawings still tucked behind the crockery on the dresser, a painted papier-mâché tiger on a shelf, alongside a row of indeterminate clay animals that someone made earlier. There were named mugs slung from hooks: Paul, Gina, Sandra, Katie, Roger, Clare.”

Philip is intrigued, even a little envious, impressed by the many photos and mementos, the large garden, Alison’s wonderful and abundant food, the idea of the family teeming over the place.

“Gina continued to hear voices, her life was still flashing at her. It seemed odd that Philip could be impervious to this, that a person with whom one had become so absolutely intimate could be so perversely ignorant. Not know. Not see and hear. One is sealed off, she thought. So is he. So’s everyone. No wonder there’s mayhem.”

I absolutely loved this novel in every way. Lively is a master of the craft. The writing is stunning, the characters real and alive. So many small, fresh details that bring a character alive. I didn't want to finish this book it was such a wonderful read. Few authors are as perceptive and wise as Lively. The structure of the novel told in multiple points of view is perfect for the title, Family Album. Honestly, I have nothing negative to say. This book is a cherished gem in a year of disappointing reads from established writers.

Buy it and enjoy!

What a wonderful novel. Every single detail is perfect, the story mysterious, the style restrained. This is a English Novel in the best sense of the term. A novel that must be read slowly. Highly recommend.

All Alison, overweight and a bit frumpy, ever really wanted was to be a mother and have a big family. She got her wish when, pregnant, she married Charles, who wrote scholarly tomes and locked himself in his study. Nevertheless they bought a run-down Edwardian mansion called Allersmead in rural England and proceeded to produce six children. Alison, a world-class cook, delighted in giving the children wonderful birthday parties on the sprawling Allersmead lawn, and elegant dinners for special occasions. Always there to lend a hand was Ingrid, the Scandinavean au pair, who was much more than a servant, yet not quite part of the family. On the surface it seemed an ideal existence for the children, almost blissful--but was it really? From the oldest Paul, who never quite found himself, to the youngest Clare, who had Ingrid's blond hair, they realize things are not quite as they seem. As they grow older they begin to question and as secrets are revealed, each child, now an adult, is profoundly affected when they learn the truth.

While I'm a Penelope Lively fan, I found this novel hard to take. It was so viscerally realistic, I felt I was living it. In that sense it was weirdly not literary.

Through the years 'The Preservation Hall Jazz Band' has recorded some very good New Orleans jazz music. This album (to benefit Preservation Hall and the Preservation Hall Music Outreach Program) is excellent. They brought in many fine musicians to record songs with them. Some of the musicians include: Tom Waits, Ani DiFranco, Pete Seeger, Brandi Carlile, Richie Havens, Merle Haggard, Dr. John, Steve Earle, and many others. If you like New Orleans jazz music, you will love this album.

T-shirts will be your best bet, but I would suggest not putting the album cover on it. Make it cute. Make it look like it's not a band shirt, but a cute shirt people could wear everyday. Like...

This adhesive was not as easy to use as I had hoped. There were times when it tore the paper or did not stick to the paper. It does seem to hold well once you can get it into place though. I do plan to use it up so I don't waste my money.

the good thing is that you can reposition your pictures with this product, but does not have a strong hold for larger pictures.

Easy to dispense, glue is strong enough to hold a decent weight of paper... it has the same problems as any rolling "tape" style dispenser, occasional jam issues, but if you can use tape white-out/correction fluid you can use this.

This item works just as advertisied; it holds the photo securely, but the photo can also be easily repositioned if need be, without damaging the photo or the mounting board. I did find out that these don't work well on textured material, but then that's not what they're advertised for -- I just wanted to experiment. All in all, a great find, handy to have around, dispenser works well, controlling the number of squares is easy.

Seems to adhere to paper good but a little difficult to get the squares at the exact spot where it is needed when rolling it on the paper.

I haven't heard this album since I was 11 in 1963. Thanks so much for posting this. I brings back fond memories of President Kennedy when things were happier before 11-22-1963.

Tears to my eyes! I remember this from '62 as a kid. My sister and I laughed and laughed. Poor LP was scratched to the point we could play only a minute or so without it skipping or repeating.

Thank you!

Progressive rock was the stuff that mystified me in my youth. The amazing talent and the guts required to try and make rock more majestic and symphonic, while showcasing the bands individual abilities and prowess. In time all things must pass (and they should) and the passing of art rock helped preserve it safely in a very specific time capsule, easily viewable from the future present. As I look back at so many progressive art rock type bands and albums few stand the test of time. In a nut shell regarding this album (the Yes Album) the vocals are almost unbearable both the annoying high pitch and some of the silly lyrics are just a bit too ridiculous. The playing can be criticized as well (but I won't because I can't play it) but I will say Steve Howe is a smidge over rated... If you really find this CD awesome then you really need to get Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Tarkus" CD or King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid man" or Eno's "Here come the warm jets" all of these CD's (simply put) hold up better in the light of the modern day and are very enjoyable considering any musical format.
Brian Eno = Here come the warm jets
King Crimson = 21st Century
ELP = Tarkus
Just a thought, if you are searching for progressive rock classics

"Jackie" sound dangerously like Marilyn Monroe, so the comment "Would you stand, please?" has sexual undertones.

I don't know much about this guy, as I'm a Brit, but I bet he felt a bit more than just grief on 22 November 1963. He must have been really pissed at losing his meal ticket.

Rhino should have released the bonus tracks in a separate package and left all these classic early Yes albums the way they were meant to be.

I remember this one from when I was a kid. It's okay. Boring though. Not worth paying a penny for.

Vaughn Meader pretty much pledged not to do the JFK bit after Dallas, but he did have his picture and an article in Rolling Stone in '78 as he started to play small clubs again. (He was a very talented musician) He was doing a song called, "Gettin' Ready for Teddy," as the younger Kennedy was thought to have a shot at the White House during that particular era. A friend of mine later saw him play a little Florida club in the Tampa area during the late '90s.

Sad listening to this because you really want to laugh at it. Knowing what would eventually happen to JFK makes that painful. One can only wonder how we would remember him if he were allowed to grow old.

Wow I haven't heard this this since 63. After JFK died, my parents removed it from our house, saying it was in bad taste to listen to it again.

I remember hearing the JFK heard this record and liked it. You never could do anything like this today.

One of my favorite records when I was in 10th grade, this, like everything else Yes did, doesn't hold up very well. The lyrics are just too stupid. I'm not sure that any of it has been done better elsewhere, but Starship Trooper? How pretentious can you get? Admittedly, there are a couple decent songs on here - - "I've Seen All Good People etc." is an OK and melodic hippie song, and I always liked the synthesiser riff on "Yours Is No Disgrace" because it was used back in the early 80's as the introduction for Channel 2 news in Atlanta.

Indeed he was. Meader's career went in the tank when JFK died and he spiraled down into depression and drugs. His son, Darmon, is a jazz vocalist and saxophonist and songwriter in NYC....very talented musician.

1. M.O.P. - Warriorz
2. Jedi Mind Tricks - Violent By Design
3. M.O.P. - Firing Squad
4. Dj Melo D - The World Famous Beat Junkies Vol. 3
5. Dj Babu - Duck Season Vol. 1
6. OC - Jewelz
7. Common Market - Common Market
8. 7L & Esoteric - Dangerous Connection
9. Sticky Fingaz - The Autobiography Of Kirk Jones
10.M.O.P. - First Family 4 Life

All have better production than the Blueprint.
BTW, I feel the need to say that Def Jux have terrible beats usually. They are part of what is causing the stereotype that underground rap has crappy beats.

@person above me, very little of those are underground

In order to finally get to the president and make the simple announcement that the Malayan ambassador was at the door, it took 5 to 6 messengers. Now, the same messengers will have to go back again with a simple message. I suppose there is an ounce of humor in that JFK doesn't go and greet the ambassador himself. Now that I explained it, it isn't funny anymore. Oh well.

1. Madvillain - Madvillainy
2. Cunninlynguists - A Piece of Strange
3. RJD2 - Deadringer
4. Jeru the Damaja - The Sun Rises in the East
5. DJ Premier - New York Reality Check
6. Nujabes - Modal Soul
7. Justice System - Rooftop Soundcheck
8. Blu and Exile - Below the Heavens
9. Slum Village - Fantastic Vol. 2
10. Dela - Changes in Atmosphere

RHH2: I would put Madvillainy and A Piece of Strange among the best produced albums. IMO better than Blueprint, but not like top 10.

And they all love this album!
What do you get when you put together a bunch of guys with good technical music background, no talent as composers and a vague common interest on world peace, oriental wisdom and saving the whales?
You get exactly this, The Yes Album. If you add overinflated egos after a few years of succesful albums, what you get is Topographic Oceans. But by the time they did The Yes Album they were relatively unknown -and that is what saves the thing to a certain point.

I know nothing about this band, but decided to give them a try since this was free.

My first impression is they sound an awful lot like the Flight of the Conchords. But without the intentional humor. If you really like the music of Flight of the Conchords, musically, not specifically for the humor, then you might dig this.

I found the tracks interesting enough musically to keep around for now.

Sample lyrics from Holla:
If you're not related to someone famous, holla
If you're not a trust fund baby, holla
If a camera don't love you, holla
If you ain't tall and can't play ball, holla
I try to put my finger on the pulse
and felt nothing
Our culture must be in a coma
and I'm not a doctor

This is a very adorable photo album. I've never seen such cute looking ones in stores. You'll get complemented on it and it's a good piece to put as a decoration. I bought it for 24$ from amazon, then, it went on sale and amazon refunded me the difference because it was still within 30 days of purchase. Love amazon.

Shimmering ambient meets translucent edge in a creative fusion with artistic appeal. An escape into satisfaction that leaves you filled with anticipation. The warmth is exciting and the casual coolness leaves you in mystery.

"The Light" purrs into life and then washes into liquid solitude in a reverberating perfection that opens up into "Always For You."

"Shine" is rigid and dreamy like ice melting into hot chocolate and wolves running through snow. "Writings on the Wall" is moody and revelatory with solitary violin haunting an emotional landscape with indistinct vocals. This song melts into "Red Eye" as notes echoes through cavernous underground chambers splintering off stalactites and diving into deep luminous pools. Crystalline textures dance with warm ambience echoing out in all directions. Once this haunting track takes hold of you it doesn't let you go and takes you on an edgy ambient fusion.

"See in You" continues the instrumental mood with snappy rhythmic beats that seems to blur out into a mellow soul tuning introspection. More like poetry than music, at times this is a study of tone.

"Into the Sea" is slightly more reticent than the previous selections and this creates an element of tension throughout as the track tries to break free. As if seeking a destiny, the song finally moves from swirling in circles to an exciting flourish. Ancient voices seem to be calling from faraway lands and then they dissipate into a silky wave.

"Wherever I Go" arrives and takes over in a moody orchestration and mellow vocals. The instrumentation is striking and ecstatic with an intriguing ending that makes your head spin.

"Wishful Thinking" is soothing classical piano in delicate notes echoing off concert hall walls and then this solitary intimacy warms to sweet winter lullabies. The violin is especially relaxing and this track seems to embrace a momentum that moves out of the deep cold earth into a sky of crystalline beauty. "Broken Arrow" has hardly ended when you feel you want to begin the experience all over again. Slightly addictive!

"Into the Blue Again" is exciting and ambient with worlds of textures and creativity to absorb.

Having already made an investment in the Seal Beach and In A Safe Place albums back when a melancholy state of mind stretched out time into one giant moment. One of desiring a certain invisibility and also wishing you could temporarily be exempt from the person you are.

At these times I found music from the Album Leaf providing necessary therapy and the perfect accompanying soundtrack to my pacing. It's like not knowing what to wear so you grab that pair of jeans that never got ripped or torn, just more soft and faded. Then you pulled on the pair of scuffed boots and a white linen shirt all wrinkled. It may not have been a Saville Row haberdashery statement, but you felt good and comfortable. You felt like a new you but one you already knew well and liked.

Into The Blue Again continues that feeling and instant familiarity. This is music with class, relying on both the current art of technology, but the oh-so essential organic, earthly substances also. I did not turn back flips when I heard of this imminent release coming. It's not that kind of music. It's more a personal thing. It's not like Jimmy LaValle wrote this music for you in particular, but listening to this makes it so.

Ambient, melodic, and celestial this music will never be earth shattering. But some monarch butterflies took flight in Malaysia and the tremble wound up here as we felt cool breezes parting our hair, billowing her thin cotton skirt all aflutter, along with my linen shirt as I stood back, hands tucked in my jean pockets, smiling and admirably taking in the views on one of life's perfect days.....and these songs carried the mood unconditionally. Welcome the comfort zone.

They aren't in the top 100 because they have no talent! Clay's is so high because of pre-sales. I don't like him either, ok. Obviously, Christina will come out on top. She's pretty untalented too.

I was searching for a really nice photo album, but despite trips all over town to Target, Wal-Mart, and others, I was never able to locate a nice photo album...That is until I found this one.

For the price, this is a fantastic photo album. The quality is exceptional, the binding is secure, it has room for tons of photos, holds photo discs and negatives, and, of course, has acid-free inserts.

They're made of bonded leather, so it's not the most expensive leather you can buy, but it's not bad.

Overall, I'm completely satisfied with the purchase of this album.

This was a fantastic album we used for our wedding photos. It holds 300 photos, and is really nicely bound. We're very happy with it.

I bought this for my parents for Christmas and it was definitely a nice addition to our collection on albums. They also loved that you could put a picture in the front so that you can tell around what time the pictures were taken!

I was surprised by how ugly the color was. The leather looks fake. I returned it. Disappointing.

My baby loves this book. I put pictures of the family inside and he carries it around everywhere. The pages tend to stick together a little when it's new but that didn't last long once he started flipping thru the pages all the time.

I loved putting together this little book for my grandchildren. It holds mounted 4x6, that is you can use photo pages cut down. I could have cut down 5x7's. There are a lot of pages for a big family. The boys liked it. I would order it again. I agree it isn't the prettiest, but it is fun and durable and the shipping was very prompt.
